A club about energy, environment and sustainability powered up by IESE Business School MBA students
The Energy Club was founded in 2006 by a team composed of students from traditional energy sector companies such as oil & gas, utilities and heavy industry. With the proliferation of energy generation and consumption in our daily lives, the club participation has since grown to include renewables, waste to energy and energy consulting to name but a few. We are proud to say that IESE Energy Club is a student-led organisation!
Energy Club strives to increase the awareness for the Energy Sector within the IESE community; by bringing MBA students, Alumni, Professors and Industry experts together through meticulously organized activities and events throughout the year; and provides current and future collaboration opportunities. Club’s continuous dedication also ensures that MBA students are properly trained and supported should they decide to pursue roles in the sector.
We focus on building new skill sets, providing our members a competitive advantage in the industry, and creating lasting relationships among participants of our events. IESE Energy Club, a student-led organisation offers a common platform for Students, Alumni and Professors interested in the Energy Industry as a whole. We do not discriminate against those without prior knowledge or expertise in the industry. We are open, inclusive and collaborative with our club culture.
